Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Prepare Your Pom-Pom Maker

Open the pom-pom maker to reveal the two semi-circular arms on each side.

Ensure both arms can swing outward and are ready for wrapping.

2. Wrap the Yarn

Start with one side of the pom-pom maker.

Hold the end of the yarn against one arm and begin wrapping it tightly around the semi-circular shape.

Continue wrapping evenly until the arm is fully covered. The more yarn you use, the fuller your pom-pom will be.

Close the arm to secure the yarn and repeat the process on the other side of the pom-pom maker.

3. Cut the Yarn

Once both sides are wrapped and secured, take a sharp pair of scissors.

Insert the scissors into the groove along the edge of the pom-pom maker and carefully cut through the yarn all the way around on both sides.

4. Tie the Pom-Pom

Cut a separate piece of yarn (about 8–10 inches long).

Place it in the groove of the pom-pom maker, pulling it tightly to secure the yarn bundle in the middle.

Tie a double knot to hold everything firmly in place.

5. Release the Pom-Pom

Gently open the arms of the pom-pom maker.

Pull the two halves of the pom-pom maker apart to release the pom-pom.

6. Fluff and Trim

Fluff the pom-pom with your fingers to spread out the yarn evenly.

Use scissors to trim any uneven strands or shape the pom-pom into a neat, round ball.

Tips:

Experiment with different colours of yarn to create striped or multi-coloured pom-poms.

Use a smaller pom-pom maker for tiny hats or a larger one for statement decorations!
